Birth Support

“My birth was so fast and she was the only helper there for a long time. She handled everything with peace, grace, and calm.

She trusted me and actually listened to me, coming when I needed her even when others said it was too early. I am very grateful for her respecting my inner wisdom.

I think anyone would be lucky to have Krissie as their doula! If we expand our family in the future, we would love to have her again.”

— M. A. (Birth & Postpartum Support)

“The day of birth and the two days after were imperative. Without a doula, we would have needed more intervention and likely gone to the hospital.

Having our doula available when our midwife was not available changed everything for the better.”

— S. A. (Birth & Postpartum Support)

“Thank you for everything you’ve done for our family! We couldn’t imagine our experience and birth story without you in it—you’re truly amazing!

Looking back on our birth experience, the decision to have Krissie as part of it will always be one of the best choices we made. Giving birth is a life-changing experience full of decisions and emotions. Krissie’s involvement helped to alleviate our anxiety and make the experience easier and special for our family. We are so thankful for her services and for being an integral part of our birth story.”

Postpartum Support

“She was my birth and postpartum doula. She did a wonderful job supporting me and my family. She easily comes into the home and helps.

I experienced a precipitous birth, insomnia, PTSD, and anxiety after the birth, and she was there for me day and night to help me through my issues. It really helped.

She is a wonderful doula and I would recommend her to anyone looking for these services. Anybody would be lucky to have her help their family.”

— M. G. (Birth & Postpartum Support)

“Krissie helped me with positioning, latching, and she was also very helpful with ideas and strategies to re-establish my milk supply after it nearly stopped when I had my lung clot. She also connected me with a donor.

She reminded me that my mental health was more important than my goal of exclusive breastfeeding. I felt happier once I gave myself permission to use my milk, the donor milk, and some formula to feed my baby.

She was great all around. Any family would be lucky to have Krissie as their doula!”

— J. H. (Birth & Postpartum Support)

“Patience, efficiency, overall knowledge and willingness to learn with us. If she didn’t know something, she admitted it and got back to us quickly.

She got along with other care providers wonderfully, keeping a level of professionalism while remaining present and allowing the medical professionals to do their jobs.

Krissie truly has a compassionate heart and a love of learning. We are so grateful to have experienced her and her services.”

— K. W. (Birth & Postpartum Support)

“The trust that [my daughter] had in Krissie and how they interacted together was amazing. I could see how much Krissie cared about [my daughter’s] overall well-being.

She connected me with resources that I could contact for my daughter and also helped me reach out to my own community when I needed support.

She was great with my daughter and grandbaby—and she even helped me too!”
